Bioprocess Sensor Reviews

Independent reviews of specific bioprocess sensors synthesised from peer-reviewed literature. Each review aggregates performance, limitations, and deployment patterns from published studies that tested the product in real bioreactor conditions — no vendor marketing, no opinion pieces, just what the evidence says.

Methodology: reviews are published only when at least 3 peer-reviewed studies (PubMed, ScienceDirect, Wiley, Springer, or equivalent) have evaluated the sensor. Every performance claim in a review is cited to a specific study. Vendor datasheets are used for spec references only; claims about field performance come exclusively from third-party publications. When available, user-submitted reviews from the sensor experience survey are added to the page as a complementary section.

Mettler Toledo ReactRaman and Nirrin TALOS/ATLAS NIR reviews are queued. PAT analyser literature is dense — Paik 2018 parallel comparison and the Esmonde-White 2017 and 2021 reviews are the key starting points for the Mettler and Nirrin pages.

pH and Other Process Sensors

Electrochemical glass electrodes, optical pH spots, CO₂ sensors, and conductivity probes.

Coming after the DO / biomass / PAT series

pH sensor reviews follow the DO and biomass categories. If you want to suggest a specific product for review, add it to VENDOR-REVIEWS-PLAN.md in the project root.
