It is a screening tool, not a verified LCA. There is no third-party verification, no EPD generation and no regulatory sign-off. If a verifier is going to audit your number, you need a licensed background database and a practitioner, and we would rather tell you that now than after you have paid.
The background data is deliberately narrow. We use openly licensed factors only, because ecoinvent cannot legally be embedded in an interactive tool without a sublicensing agreement. That means excellent coverage of electricity, fuels, water and common polymers, and thin coverage of speciality chemicals. Media components and speciality polymers carry a visible confidence tier so you can see where the model is weakest.
Impact categories beyond climate are not in yet. Acidification, eutrophication and cumulative energy demand are planned via the US EPA LCIA Formatter, and yearly subscribers get them first. Today Pro covers climate change, plus energy, water and mass intensity.
